Lies, damn lies and then polls

It makes me wonder why any of us pay any attention to these polls. I still haven't changed my mind about Edwards and the spinners are talking about a Kerry/Edwards ticket. Too soon for that, but they have to have something to call 'news' and to talk about. Now they will start talking about polls in the remaining states and who 'has' to win here and who will get out if they don't. Another week before all this is finally resolved is my wish, but I have this nagging feeling that this will drag on till the convention.
