When you're wrong admit it and move on. It was clear to even the most jaded left winger that Cheney won the debate yet I've read from many on the left who claim that Edward's won. I think this illustrates one of the main differences between democrats and republicans. When Bush lost the debate last week we all admitted the truth of it and moved on. Democrats can't admit the truth of Edward's drumming last night. Probably the same reason Rather can't admit the documents were forgeries. If you can't admit your mistakes then you can't learn from them and you won't be a very good leader. And while we might debate whether Kerry could be a good president it is clear that Edward's can not be and that is a big problem for Kerry. He picked a VP who is clearly not up to the task and that hurts him. Edward's childish tearing of paper in a stupid attempt to ruffle Cheney made him look immature. Last night showed why the Kerry campaign has been keeping Edward's out of the limelight. Now it is our job to keep him out of the Whitehouse.
