The documents below are the incorporation papers of the 'Cortland County Agricultural Local Development Corporation' or CCALDC for short. (You know it's a government deal with a mouthful like that.) This was formed to handle the 'New York State Farmland Protection Program' or NYSFPP for short. We've been calling this the 'Forever Green Program' or FGP for short, for some obscure reason that I've completely forgotten. The CCALDC will hold the easement to Paul Knapp's farmland once the deal goes through.

My mind is a little warped because I've been watching old Monty Python episodes and they do a 'bit' that is something like the above. Now that I think about it, this whole thing reminds me of Monty Python.

Back to reality.

The documents below are interesting for several reasons. One is the list of names that make up the board of directors. Paul Slowey is a big pusher of Flying J. The other is the Lawyer, called 'Incorporator' in the docs. Look at his address:

We have a Cortland corporation using a Tully lawyer that is in the same office as the lawyer for Flying J that also handled the sale of the Flying J site that is charged with holding the easement on the Knapp's farm after they get their farm rezoned which will allow Flying J to build bypassing our buffer zone laws.

Sounds perfectly legit to me.

Is there any connection of any of these people to Flying J, besides their lawyer John Sidd and Paul Slowey? Does there need to be any more that that?
