TWO SURE FIRE WAYS TO AVOID A VIRUS ATTACK
1. Buy a Mac. I've had Macs since 1984 and I have never, repeat never had a virus. They don't do them for Macs because it has a smaller market share and is harder to do because the Mac OS is far better than Windows and has few if any holes.
2. Upgrade to Linux. Linux is cheaper, almost free, and because it is based on Unix as is the Mac, has most of the same advantages. BUT it is harder to install and use than a Mac.
To sum it up. If you want a computer that is faster, more elegant and just all around better then get a Mac.

Tech News - CNET.com: Rockin' on without Microsoft
"newsmakers: Sterling Ball, a jovial, plain-talking businessman, is CEO of Ernie Ball, the world's leading maker of premium guitar strings endorsed by generations of artists ranging from the likes of Eric Clapton to the dudes from Metallica.
But since jettisoning all of Microsoft products three years ago, Ernie Ball has also gained notoriety as a company that dumped most of its proprietary software--and still lived to tell the tale."

CAUCUS, CAUCUS WHO'S GOT THE CAUCUS?
The dates for the caucus's are sometime between now and 9/16/03. That is the last date they can be held. Us normal folk won't find out until 10 days before or 9/6/03 at the latest. The GOBs know because they control the dates and they are using the time to find people to run. Don't wait till the last minute to make your plans. Be prepared, as the Boy Scouts say. I'll let you know the dates as soon as I find out.
