Rush, a racist?

Racism is defined by the act of treating an individual of a particular race in a certain way simply because of their race. For example: Treating a polish person as dumb because you think all polish people are dumb, is raciest. The act of putting people of a given race in any niche is raciest. For example: Saying all oriental students get better grades than black students because one is oriental and the other black, is raciest. But if you say that some people "think" that way you are not making a raciest statement. Saying someone is raciest does not make you raciest, you may be wrong but you are not raciest. What Rush said was that the liberals in sports casting treat blacks differently because they want the blacks to succeed and that may be clouding their judgment. That is not a raciest statement. But Rush was living in a liberal environment, the media, and he was not welcomed there. It is no surprise that they would lock on to the first thing they could find to get rid of him. I agree with Rush, I think the media treats blacks differently simply because they are black and because of that fact the media itself, is raciest. For example: You might hear a report that a bank robber was a white man but if the bank robber was black the reporter will likely not identify the man as black but will just say the robber was a man. The media is so afraid of further hurting the black race that they give up their journalistic integrity to report the news. Rush pointed that out and they retaliated by calling him raciest. And that, my friends, proves that the media is itself the one that is raciest.

"I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well," Limbaugh said on Sunday's show. "There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve. The defense carried this team."

There is no racial comment here. I've listened to Rush on a regular basis for fourteen years. I know him better than I know most people. He is not racist, he doesn't make racist comments. Those in the media know this yet they now say he is racist. They lie. The question is why do they say that he is? What are their motives? What do they hope to gain? That is the real question.

I put some quotes from Rush on the Not Safe For Democrats site.

The Political Compass

The Political Compass Welcome to The Political Compass.
"There's abundant evidence for the need of it. The old one-dimensional categories of 'right' and 'left' , established for the seating arrangement of the French National Assembly of 1789, are overly simplistic for today's complex political landscape. For example, who are the 'conservatives' in today's Russia? Are they the unreconstructed Stalinists, or the reformers who have adopted the right-wing views of conservatives like Margaret Thatcher ?"

WHERE DO YOU STAND?

Over the years I've grown to wonder if there was some way to measure a individual's political leanings. It's not a simple left or right thing. Often you will hear people say things like I'm such and such liberal but such and such conservative. Confusing to say the least. I've considered making up some kind of questionnaire that would do this but never got beyond that. Today I stumbled across this site which kind of does what I was thinking about. It's a harmless fun thing to try out.
