Democrats rig the polls again

From one of the many democrat sites we find they are giving their trolls instructions:

VOTE online tonight... we did it before, now lets slam the door.

National and local news organizations will be conducting online polls during and after the debate asking for readers' opinions. Look for online polls at these news websites, and make sure to vote in every one of them:

CBS: http://www.cbsnews.com/
CNN: http://www.cnn.com/
Fox News: http://www.foxnews.com/
MSNBC: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/
Wall Street Journal: http://www.wsj.com/
Akron Beacon-Journal: http://www.ohio.com/
Atlanta Journal-Constitution: http://www.ajc.com/
Detroit News: http://www.detnews.com/
Los Angeles Times: http://www.latimes.com/
Minneapolis-St. Paul Star-Tribune: http://www.startribune.com/
Orlando Sentinel: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/
Philadelphia Inquirer: http://www.philly.com/
South Florida Sun-Sentinel: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/

lets all do our part, WE CAN win this.

My suggestion to my friends is NOT to participate in these polls. Last time they were so lopsided they were dismissed. One showing Kerry up 82 to 10. So let the trolls cheat, it will not help them. No matter what their polls say Bush did very good in this debate. The people who decide have noticed and Bush will win.

ANOTHER HUGE WIN FOR BUSH!!!

This debate was a snore but when it comes to substance Bush did the best. Kerry did not have one significant point at all. Kerry looked tired and was not very energetic nor was he very strong. Bush is on top of every question and is hitting back at Kerry with his record in the Senate. That is a major problem for Kerry because he is the most liberal senator in the senate and his record proves it. Kerry makes a claim about what he will do and then Bush proves the claim wrong using Kerry's own record. Many pundits have said that Kerry's record was going to be his main problem. All Kerry can do to refute the facts is say they aren't true. But Kerry lying about his record isn't going to win. Of course there are 42% of the country who will vote for him no matter the facts.

Lowest point of the night, no, of this election goes to Kerry, who, knowing he was losing the debate and in desperation and for no reason brought up the fact the Cheney's daughter is gay. No reason to bring this up and is was a very slimy thing to do. The crowd didn't like it and the newsroom didn't like it and even groaned. It was disgusting and the reason Kerry brought it up was to tell the Republican base that she was gay, because he thought that would matter to them. It doesn't and he is slime to think it would. I was disgusted that Kerry would use the innocent daughter of the Cheney's as a slime. Just disgusting! No principles at all. On this site I have often made negative comments about our local leaders but I have never and would never say anything about their family and most especially not about their children. For Kerry to slime the Cheney's daughter by outing her as a lesbian is beyond the pale. He is a disgusting person and this alone disqualifies him to lead this country. It is my hope that this dirty disgusting ploy by Kerry will be cited as one of the main reasons he was soundly defeated.

After the debate Mary Beth Cahill, Kerry's senior something or other said that going after Cheney's gay daughter was "fair game" as if she was a target they could shoot! What a group of slimy people.

And a final note to my Democrat friends, if you're still reading this... It would be wise on your part not to bring up Kerry's name in my presence.

Town Board Meeting 10/11/04 Audio

Just posting the audio for now. Members of the county legislature came to Preble to present their case for a change to the treasurers office.

Apparently there was little if any notice given by the Town Board about this because few people showed up besides the regulars. Both Betty and Kate grilled Scott Steve and the others quite hard making me wonder if this might have something to do with so few showing up. Scott Steve is a republican and Betty and Kate are democrats. I'll have to do a bit of research on this and will report more fully soon.

NEW SITE: I've been working on the new site and haven't had time for much of anything else lately. I expect to have it up in the next few days. It is a MAJOR change with a completely new system. So far it is running very nicely and I actually have both running right now. Look for it soon.

In the meantime I'll try to write up my notes from the meeting and get more info about the treasurer's change for you to look at.

Presentation from the legislature.

Town Board Meeting

Power Line

Power Line is good today on all counts but the story about Kerry's discharge from the Navy is very telling. Telling in that is a taste of what we have to look forward too if he were to get elected.

Can't we all just get along

The "can't we all just get along" crowd has now become the "won't it all just go away" crowd. They wish that terrorism would just go away and their leader thinks this way too. Terrorism won't just go away, it has to be defeated and the only way to defeat it is to fight it. Fighting scares them and makes them pull the covers up over their heads and cower in fear. They have been transformed by fear into believing that if we are nice to the terrorists that we can all live in peace. They put 'Peace' bumper stickers on their cars to show their fear and they believe that will appease the terrorists. The terrorists laugh at them, knowing that if the fools elect Kerry they will be the real winners. Kerry will not get any more help in Iraq, his comments about the coerced and bribed has undermined his position. The terrorists will know that all they have to do is hold out for a few more months and Kerry's defeatist attitude will prevail. He will hand over Iraq to whatever form of government is there and cut and run. That is his nature, his history, his goal. If Kerry wins, the terrorists wins. They will be able to regroup, to strengthen and in their time, at their choosing, at their place, they will come after us again and Kerry will not be ready, he will not understand what happened, he will not know what to do and the terrorists will win. The fundamental goal in this election is not 'the economy stupid, or some other catch phrase of America's innocent past. This election comes down to whether we decide to become a nation of losers like the French or a great nation with the guts to defeat terrorism. Whether we walk with our heads held nigh or our shoulders slumped in defeat. Whether we practice the religion of our choice or whether our women wear berkas. That is OUR choice. This election is the most important election America has ever faced and the decision we make in three weeks will forever change the course of America. We are not a country of defeatists, of losers who cower in fear from a small but determined enemy but we have to have the courage to elect the only man who will see that goal to the end and that man is Bush. There is no other choice.

Monday Morning News Roundup

New York Post Online Edition: BUSH WINS AGAIN

TIME Magazine - The Case for Fearmongering, Do candidates alarm people when they talk of danger? They should - By CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER

Real Clear Politics - Bush lead back to 5 in WP poll.

WSJ - JOHN FUND - Union thugs target Republicans.

SFGate - Taking the election to court

Opinion: Several things are clear. John Kerry is not a very good candidate and John Edwards is no help. Kerry's sister was used in Australia to try to defeat the Conservative government. The media said the race was close but the vote showed they were very wrong. The media is calling our race for president close also and they too are wrong. These stories and others indicate that democrats are getting desperate as they see the election slipping away. They close a weak candidate who cannot win and they are stuck with him and trying to make the best of it. Plans are in place to steal the election using liberal courts after the election. The only hope for this is a close election. The MSM is doing all it can to undermine the president and bolster Kerry but there is only so much they can do with the material they have to work with. Kerry is his own worst enemy by making stupid statements that show his true beliefs. The difference is stark. If you want to win the war then it's Bush. If you want to be a loser then it's Kerry. As more people realize this the polls swing in Bush's favor. Americans aren't losers and they see Kerry as a loser. This election won't be close. I called it months ago 58/42 and I see no reason to change that now.

We All Live Downstream - bumper sticker

Kerry says terrorists a NUISANCE???

This quote is being used by Bush in a new ad that I'm sure you will see a lot. It comes from a very pro Kerry article in, where else, The New York Times by Matt Bai. It's a long article and this quote is about 2/3 of the way down.

When I asked Kerry what it would take for Americans to feel safe again, he displayed a much less apocalyptic worldview. ''We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance,'' Kerry said. ~

Kerry, a former prosecutor, was suggesting that the war, if one could call it that, was, if not winnable, then at least controllable.

Not only is this a defeatist attitude it shows a remarkable difference between the two. One who wants to defeat the terrorists and one who thinks them a nuisance and wants to controll them. This will hurt Kerry. I'm sure his advisors are saying to themselves,

"What the hell, is he trying to lose this race."

The New York Times > Magazine > Kerry's Undeclared War

Story on Yahoo News that Drudge referenced is here.

Bush's re-election campaign announced a new television ad that plays off of Kerry's interview comment. "Terrorism ... a nuisance? How can Kerry protect us when he doesn't understand the threat?" the ad says. The campaign said the ad would run on national cable television networks and the campaign's Web site.

Jeesh, First a global test and now terrorists are only a nuisance. Man! Maybe he does want to lose this.

John Kerry's Framework to yada yada - Raise Taxes on people making LESS than $200K!

So, just what does this line mean?

Restore the top two tax rates to their levels under President Clinton.

It means that those levels under President Clinton taxed people who were making LESS than $200K a year. All the way down to married filing separately making LESS that $80K or so! This is starting to make sense because Kerry cannot do all he says he wants to do unless he taxes a whole lot more than he admits. So, why are you surprised about this?

Kudos to Stuart Varney

Online Polls are rigged!

Lets do our part again....

Vote in Online Polls
National and local news organizations will be conducting online polls during and after the debate asking for readers' opinions. Look for online polls at these news websites, and make sure to vote in every one of them:

This was followed by a long linked list of the polls they were instructed to rig. Only the liberal MSM will use the rigged numbers in their reports. Chriss Mathews used them tonight on MSNBC without mentioning they were rigged. What media bias indeed. Best to ignore them.

BUSH WINS DEBATE HANDS DOWN!!!!!

The following is my thoughts as the debate went on...

Bush is kicking butt at this debate. He is on fire! Kerry is out of his element now. Kerry is just rehashing tired old line and Bush is beating him badly. Kerry is still trying that old OBL line and no WMD yada yada. Kerry claims he is consistent. Bush is coming back powerfully, man is he holding a training lesson on debates for poor Kerry. Bush is giving a great explanation of why making an unpopular decision is right for America but that other countries may not like them. He is making it clear that for him America comes first unlike Kerry who thinks a Global test is necessary before making a move. Kerry is now talking and not very well, saying Bush will be more of the same. Still claiming the UN (despite the corruption at the UN) is the way to go. Bush is coming back hard at Kerry, not even waiting for a moment to respond. Man is Bush taking this over. Kerry is throwing wild baseless claims and looking bad.

Q to Kerry about Iran and is saying that the UN sanctions can not be relied on and is now saying that Iraq is the problem and... I think he lost his train of thought and I don't have a clue what the hell he is talking about. Now he's on N. Korea and the question is about Iran. Now he's off on Russia's nukes. What the hell is he talking about? Finally says he will get tough with Iran. Bush is coming back with a powerful retort and is on topic unlike Kerry. He is talking about Iran and what we are doing. Claims that Kerry is naive about N. Korea and about Kerry's plan to undermine the current talks wit 6 nations. Bush is beating Kerry's clock!

Draft question to Bush. He says we are not going to have a draft period. Talking about the transformation of the military and how we are doing. Masterful command of the subject. Bush is strong on this one also. He is fired up! Talking about using new technologies and how that changes the way we work. Kerry rebuts says he doesn't support draft but is back talking about former generals who support him and claiming military is overextended. Kinda dry and not very convincing. Now he claims he is going to add 40,000 to the military. Bush demands to respond and when Charlie tries to stop him he just starts talking, HE IS KICKING ASS! Kerry sounds weak and says his plan (what plan) is better... weak.

Question to Kerry. Why no attacks on US and what would he do. He is stumbling and wandering around and says he agrees with the president and says he could do better. (why)(how) Now he says he is back to the question but he is answering something else. What the hell is he talking about? Tax plan? What does that have to do with this? Nuts? Bush is calmly talking about the problems and beating Kerry up by talking about Kerry's record. He is solid and reassuring and talking about what he is doing and what Kerry has done wrong (his record) Hitting him with his words and is back on fire and clear. Man Kerry is being buried. Charlie to Kerry about when. Now Kerry accepts what Bush has said but but but is back talking about a tax cut. Bush is talking about the terrorists and how to defeat them. Bush has the command of the debate and Kerry is phoning it in.

Question to Bush. Drugs from Canada. Bush says he wants then to be safe and has not prevented them from coming in. Drugs coming from Canada might be from a third world and he just wants to make sure they are safe. Now talking about other ways of making drugs cheaper by allowing generic drugs. He is giving examples of personal experiences with people. Talks about working to help seniors. Kerry... Claims that Bush is lying (my words) says that Bush blocked it. Claims that he put profit in companies pocket. Bush, Right back powerfully. Beats up on Kerry for 20 years of nothing Kerry has done in the senate for medicare. Kerry claims he fixed it and is talking about balancing the budget and is talking about dept. Bush wins this one also.

Question to Kerry. About Edwards suing doctors and causing health care cost increases. Edwards made millions off doctors. Asking people to go to the internet? Lame. Back on subject but weakly. Trying to follow his rambling. Oh now he says he has a plan. Christ, another plan. Not answering the question about Edwards and is talking about tax increases. Bush, Senator Kerry is the most liberal senator of all. Says he is going to tax everybody here to pay for his plan. Says he could have showed up to vote for a bill on the senate that would take care of this. Saying he is a liberal and will create a huge government heath care programs. Kerry says he would look at things. But he doesn't like being called a liberal. Doesn't like labels, wants to talk about another plan. Bush fires back about Kerry not voting for it and Kerry didn't show up. Man!

Question to Bush. Not vetoing any spending bill? Bush talks about the deficit and the recession that started before he came into office and we are at war and he will spend whatever it takes to win the war. We have an obligation to spend that money and we cut taxes to get out of the recession and talks forcefully about how good things are now and how they are getting better. Haven't vetoed because we have worked together. He has a command of the subject and knows what he is talking about. On Fire! Kerry is talking about another plan. Talking about the deficit which is not the question but he seems to be floundering about what to say. Repeating tag lines and is not very clear about what the hell he is talking about.

Charlie. what about the deficit. Bush is retaking clearly about the deficit and how it came about and how we are working about it, Kerry is back on the wealthy tax cut crap. More tag lines, Oh Enron. sad. Bush is winning this hands down.

Question to Kerry. Pledge not to raise taxes and Kerry is saying yes. (Read my lips?) Talking about his tax plan. (Another plan) No details just talking about what he would do and harkens back to the 90's. Pledging not to raise taxes under $200K. Bush says he is not credible and brings up his senate record and now he is going to change all that. Bush is hitting him with facts and sounds very good and is detailed about what he has done and what he will do.

Charlie question to Kerry about his figures. Says he is wrong but gives no reason why. Just talking about his record. Bush he has a record of 20 years, you can run but you cannot hide. Calls him a liberal again and says he is not credible about what he says he is going to do about raising taxed.

Question to Bush. Environment. Diesel emissions, clear sky proposal, more things than I can type. Must be 8 or 9 proposals that protect the environment. Talks about protecting forests from fires. Good common sense policies. Hydrogen automobile proposal, coal proposals. Fewer water complaints. Good answer. Kerry claims he is not right. labels don't mean anything. Welfare reform, doesn't like labels. Doesn't like being called a liberal. No facts just rhetoric. Seems confused and rambling. He says he is going to believe is science. Bush says he the quality of air is cleaner since he took over. Kerry Kyoto treaty is flawed and he would sign it or something and says he would fix it. ???

Question to Kerry. How can US be competitive given the wages in other countries. Kerry is talking about tax loophole to move away and he would shut loophole. Give tax incentives to companies to stay here. Lower the cost of health care and rattles off some numbing numbers and pays for it with the tax increase to the rich. And rattles off lots of things he wants to spend money on. More freaking plans. Mind numbing plans. Bush control the cost of healthcare with liability reform. Health saving accounts, saving your own money. Outsourcing, Robert Ruben said Kerry's plan wouldn't work. Talks about several proposals Kerry/Edwards didn't show up to vote for. Tax the rich and you tax small business that hurt small business and hurt job growth. Charlie about his flaky plan. Kerry is talking about Bush owning a timber company. Bush makes a joke about it and the crown laughs and is talking about small business.

Question to Bush. Patriot Act and expansions and why are his rights being water down etc. Bush says he doesn't agree that his rights are being watered down and explains it very well and said he wouldn't sigh it if he thought it would. He details very convincingly how the act works and why it is necessary. Gives some examples of how it is working. A solid command of the subject. Kerry sounding weak and quoting others about the act and not giving any details but some stories. In effect he wants to get rid of it even though he voted for it. He's not a flip flopper and is now for the act. (WTF) Confusing answer.

Question to Kerry. Stem cells have cured a lot but no one cured by embryonic stem cells. Kerry dancing around the morality of the question and now talks about some others who want it. (What is he for here?) Wandering around without an answer. Now he thinks we can do them. (waiting for a clue here) (so what is it?) Now claims he wants the future. Bush is very cleat that to get embryonic stems cells kills a life and talks about balancing the ethics and science and talks that destroying life to save life is a dilemma. Talks about adult stem cells and how that helps. Kerry claims Bush is waffling (WTF) wandering around the issue and he says he will allow embryonic stem cells and will destroy life. Bush is commanding is this exchange.

Question to Bush. Who would he chose to replace a judge on the supreme court. Bush "I'm, not telling, I want them all to vote for me" He talks about picking one who would interpret the constitution and judges who had personal opinions would not be appointed. He would pick strict constructionists. Legislator make law and Judges interpret the constitution. Kerry, saying that Bush would put conservation judges on the court. (He would put liberal judges on wouldn't he) (waiting) He says he would pick the same but put some qualifications that are not constitutional.

Question to Kerry. Abortion paid for by tax dollars? (waiting for an answer) (he isn't answering the question and just waiting for a thought) (ah ah ah ah) (talking about the world and aids WTF is he talking about) didn't answer the question. Bush is clear, we are not going to spend federal money on abortion. He signed a ban on partial birth abortion. Talks about bills he signed about abortion and how he is working to promote an America that supports life. Man he is quietly doing a great job. Kerry said he is again partial birth abortion BUT and then no on parental notification. Bush Are you for a ban, yes or no and Kerry voted no and that is how it is. You can run but you can't hide on you record.

Final Question to Bush. Thousands of decisions that effect lives. Give three wrong one and what you did to correct them Bush. I have made many decisions. In war historians will look back and find reasons that things could be done different. I did not make a mistake in going into Iraq and talks about the report that came out today and how Sadam was doing things. Kerry says the president make huge mistakes and yada yada, inspectors, UN etc. Same old same old. Quoting others again, repeating himself. Iraq a bad idea etc. Bush retorts. Our troops don't have adequate equipment. Kerry and his 87 billion vote against the troops. Kerry about the 87 billion, old line he used before. Trying to explain his vote against the troops.

Kerry closing statement first. Trying to explain his global test but is careful not to mention it. Oh and he has a plan and a better plan but no details as usual. Another plan and another plan and another plan (man has a lot of plans) Poor poor poor

Bush closing statement. Talks about the future, who can lead and who can get things done. talks about where we have been and how things are going now. Things are better now and getting better. Keep taxes low, regs down, health care policy, energy plan and abroad. We are at war and we need a preside that is strong etc. (At 98 minutes he is still strong and powerful)

A CLEAR WIN FOR BUSH! No doubt about it!!!!!

HEO

Two Cents: If only...

Here are few things I would love to see happen during tonight's debate:

*As the debate starts, Charlie Gibson, the debate moderator, announces that he's giving up his moderator chair to John O'Neill.

*When told that the unemployment rate is too high, Bush sticks it to Kerry that a 5.4% unemployment rate ain't too shabby, especially considering the praise Clinton received for a 5.6% unemployment rate.

*John Kerry complains about a "shrinking middle class" and President Bush informs the senator that the reason that class is shrinking is because they're moving into higher brackets, not lower.

*Immediately after he offers his obligatory praise of Kerry's service to our country, President Bush denounces Kerry's anti-American activities upon his return from Vietnam -- including his 1971 testimony before the Senate Foreign Relation Committee, his Paris meeting with the enemy, and his continued refusal to apologize for his actions.

*Teresa Heinz-Kerry jumps up in the middle of the debate and derides anyone who dares to question her husband. Embarrassed, John Kerry can only say that he admires his wife's courage to speak her mind.

*As soon has Kerry starts talking about the President's failure to build a coalition in Iraq, Bush begins listing the countries involved in the U.N. Oil-for-Food scandal and then asks if John Kerry was hoping that those are the nations Kerry hopes to recruit and believes we can trust when it comes to fighting a war in Iraq.

*Kerry remembers, longingly, the good ol' days of the Soviet Union and why a nuclear freeze actually would have been a good thing.

*In a sudden fit of honesty, Kerry jovially admits that he we just kidding about raising taxes on those making more than $200K per year, stating, "Obviously that was a joke -- everybody gets a tax hike. How did you think I was going to pay for all this crap?"

lgf: Kerry's Vanished Draft Proposal

So what do you know, I was right, John Kerry proposed the draft after all. The proof's here. Whenever Kerry accuses Bush of doing something bad it is because he is doing it himself.

9/11 Families for a Safe and Strong America

An Open Letter to America

Three years ago, on the day that began as a beautiful September morning, 19 men and their sponsors carried out a brutal and devastating attack on our country, leaving 3,000 innocent men, women and children dead, including our loved ones.  In those first agonizing hours, and for weeks and months afterward as we searched for word of their fate, we were aware that the shock and horror of that day was not ours alone.  With a gratitude we could not yet express, we felt the strong and steady embrace of our fellow Americans.  The words, “Never forget,” defiantly written in dust or humbly penned on makeshift memorials, were also permanently etched in our hearts.  We will never forget your strength, your courage and your endless generosity.

We speak to you now in the same spirit that you spoke to us then, as Americans, united on behalf of our country.  Like many of you, we feel that our nation is poised at a critical moment in history.  Like our parents and grandparents before us, we know that the choices we make today will affect our children tomorrow.  But we face a new challenge, a new kind of war and an enemy who is different from the enemies faced by earlier generations.  This is not an adversary who can be reasoned with or appeased, this is an adversary who has repeatedly demonstrated that its means and ends are one and the same: the wanton slaughter of innocents.

After the attack, President Bush articulated the primary lesson of September 11, that simply reacting to danger after lives are lost is a weak and unacceptable national defense.  He believes that taking the fight to the enemy is the best way to ensure that the enemy will not bring death to our doorstep here at home.

     We agree.

Power Line

VIA Power Line...

If a man says he has a gun, acts like he has a gun, and convinces everyone around him he has a gun, and starts waving it around and behaving recklessly, the police are justified in shooting him (even if it turns out later he just had a black bar of soap). Similarly, according to the Duelfer report, Saddam seems to have intentionally convinced other countries, and his own generals, that he had WMDs. He also convinced much of the U.S. government. If we reacted accordingly and he turns out not to have had WMDs, whose fault is that?

How to explain it.

A conservative will put iodine on the cut on their finger because the brief pain is worth it to prevent the infection that would surely follow.

The liberal will not put iodine on the cut for fear of causing immediate pain and is incapable of seeing past the moment. And when infection sets in and causes more pain, the liberal will not realize that it was their inaction that caused it in the first place and will blame others.

I know this is illogical but it illustrates one of life's truths. No one wishes it were not so more than I.

The UN's Biggest Scandal

I think that everyone in the world, save for blind liberals, thought Sadam had WMD and he acted as if he had them and would use them given the chance. It would have been highly irresponsible for any President to ignore that threat and do nothing as Kerry proscribes. It is always easier to say what is the best thing to do after the fact, which is what Kerry is now doing. But smart people, half of the country, knows better. I doubt this will change anything, because it has been common knowledge for some time that the WMD are not there now. But that still leaves a huge question. Why did Sadam act as if he had them. I keep going back to why Sadam acted like he had them because if he had not prevented the inspectors from having full access and hadn't kicked them out he could have stayed in power. Don't forget the fact that Sadam paid off most of the UN who were in his pocket and doing his bidding. This is the most damming scandal of the UN. Billions of dollars taken from the mouths of starving Iraq's and given to the French, Germans, Russians etc to get them to force the UN to lift sanctions. If we had not gone to war when we did, those countries, having been bought off, would have forced a lifting of the sanctions which would have empowered Sadam far beyond what he could have ever been. Not going to war, knowing what we know now, would have been the biggest mistake the world has ever made. And it would have been brought about by the bribes Sadam made to the French, Germans, Russians etc. Kerry will make a lot of the report and those dim zealots, will believe what he says. Down through history people like Kerry have come along and preached this sort of nonsense. It's more than a difference of opinion when historical fact can prove them wrong. However, that won't make a difference to the true believers who, either are incapable of seeing the facts in front of them or are just incapable of understanding reality.

Power Line: Security weasels

A excellent article that shows what would have happened if Kerry's stated plan had been followed.
